BSRIA Test Results for our HIU's

We are pleased to share the results of tests conducted by BSRIA Ltd (Building Services Research and Information Association) on a range of our ModuSat® heat interface units (HIUs) in BSRIA’s independent laboratories.

The objective of the testing was to establish the performance of our HIUs’ against best practice recommendations in the CIBSE Heat Network CP1.

Testing was conducted in accordance with BS EN 1148:1999 ‘Heat Exchangers – Water-to-water heat exchangers for district heating- Test procedures for establishing the performance data’. BS EN 1148:1999 establishes uniform methods to test and ascertain performance characteristics and pressure drop for plate type heat exchangers, including stipulating acceptance limits.

We chose to have the testing conducted by BSRIA Ltd in accordance with British Standards to ensure integrity and reliability of results. The test results demonstrate the ability of the ModuSat® combined space heating/domestic hot water/space cooling HIUs to perform efficiently within the heating and cooling network.
