Prefabricated Plant Room Solutions

Plant Room Skids with ADISA High Efficiency Boilers

Our prefabricated plant solutions can be designed to suit the specific requirements of the communal or district scheme. The use of offsite prefabrication has increased considerably in recent years and continues to offer a lot of benefits when compared to traditional onsite installation methods.

A construction site is not an ideal place to assemble a plant room. However in a factory, bespoke design can take place at the start of the project and the tight organisation of products during manufacture in controlled conditions results in consistently high quality.

The factory creates an efficient clean environment in which to build and removes a lot of the unknown interruptions associated with site conditions such as bad weather, delays due to other trades work/hold ups, delays from various suppliers and installation error/time making good.

Installation or delivery of the prefabricated plant can greater ease. With one delivery time for all plant room equipment, from one supplier, factory tested ready for quick installation, set up and operation, again speeding up the commissioning process.

Although material costs for both methods are equal there are significant labour savings in prefabrication and therefore an overall reduced cost can be achieved by this approach.

Benefits of Prefabricated plant

  • A single delivery for all plant room equipment - from one supplier
  • Reduces health and safety risks when working in confined spaces compared to the factory environment
  • One delivery for plant reduces site traffic, congestion and therefore reduction in carbon emissions
